The Ministry of Municipality, in coordination with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, has confirmed new burial schedules for the summer season, running from June through September.
Under the revised timings:
- Morning burials will be permitted from the end of the prohibited prayer period after sunrise until 8:00 AM.
- Evening burials will take place following Maghrib or Isha prayers.
The Ministry clarified that funerals scheduled after Dhuhr and Asr prayers will be deferred to the designated evening slots. Officials said the adjustment is part of operational measures to ensure smooth cemetery management during the hotter months.
