Qatar’s junior table tennis team delivered an outstanding performance at the recently concluded WTT Youth Contender Tournament in Amman, securing a total of eight medals across various categories.
Racha Loghraibi led the team’s success, clinching a gold medal in the U-11 category and a bronze medal in the U-13 division. Her victories contributed to Qatar’s final tally of one gold, three silver, and four bronze medals.
Alia Elbaz and Sarrinah Shaikh further boosted the medal count by capturing silver medals in the U-11 and U-13 events respectively. Meanwhile, Rabeah Al-Kuwari and Mubarak Al-Qutaiti each earned bronze medals in their U-11 singles competitions.
Adding to the achievements, Rokaia Elbaz claimed third place in the U-15 women’s singles event, rounding off a strong showing for the Qatari squad.
The results underscore the growing strength of Qatar’s youth table tennis program and highlight the promising talent emerging on the international stage.
