Doha, August 28 (QNA) - The General Directorate of Traffic announced the extension of the time period for rectifying the status of vehicles whose licenses have expired and have exceeded the legal period stipulated in Article No. 11 of Traffic Law No. 19 of 2007, for a period of 60 days, starting Thursday.
In a statement on its official account on X (previously known as Twitter), the Ministry of Interior said that this decision is based on the announcement issued on July 27, 2025, whereby the mentioned time period has been extended for additional 60 days starting from Aug. 28, 2025.
This extension aims to provide vehicle owners with the opportunity to complete the required procedures within the specified timeframe to avoid legal accountability.Â
