Qatar Sports Club Hires Pastore to Boost QSL Campaign

The 33-year-old attacking midfielder started his club career in Argentina with Talleres and Huracán before transferring to Serie A team Palermo in 2009.

The Argentinean Javier Pastore has joined Qatar Sports Club (Qatar SC) from La Liga team Elche, the QNB Stars League (QSL) team announced on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old attacking midfielder started his club career in Argentina with Talleres and Huracán before transferring to Serie A team Palermo in 2009. He represented Argentina between 2010 and 2017.

Pastore represented the French giants for a protracted period with Paris Saint-Germain from 2011 to 2018.

With 10 points after seven games, Qatar SC is ranked seventh in the QSL rankings after scoring three victories.
