Kuwait Marine Show 2026
The State of Qatar concluded its participation in the first edition of the Kuwait Marine Show 2026, held from 28 to 31 January in Al Khiran, Kuwait, through a national participation hosted by Old Doha Port, marking a key milestone in its regional maritime engagement.
As Kuwait's largest marine event, the exhibition brought together leading marine brands, industry professionals, and enthusiasts to showcase the latest boats, marine technologies, and equipment, while highlighting the region's growing marine and waterfront lifestyle sector.
Throughout the exhibition, the Qatar Pavilion attracted strong engagement and welcomed visits from several distinguished VIPs. Over the course of four days, the Qatari companies participating under the Qatar Pavilion achieved strong commercial outcomes, concluding the sale of 19 boats.
This success reflects the positive reception of Qatar's participation in the inaugural edition of the Kuwait Marine Show 2026, highlighting the growing competitiveness of Qatari companies within the regional boats and yachts sector.
Commenting on the exhibition, Engineer Mohammed Abdulla Al Mulla, CEO of Old Doha Port, said: "Our participation at the Kuwait Marine Show reflects Old Doha Port’s expanding regional role as a platform that connects Qatari marine industries to key markets.
Through unified national participation, we are opening new commercial pathways, strengthening regional partnerships, and reinforcing Qatar's position as a credible and competitive maritime manufacturing hub."
Old Doha Port's participation at the Kuwait Marine Show 2026 forms part of its ongoing efforts to deepen regional engagement, expand its maritime network, and elevate the international profile of Qatari marine manufacturers. These efforts align with Qatar National Vision 2030, particularly its objectives related to economic diversification, private-sector growth, and regional industry collaboration.
