Qatar Airways Expands Winter Schedule with Increased Flights to Over 15 Global Destinations

Qatar Airways has announced a significant boost to its winter flight schedule, increasing services to more than 15 destinations worldwide. This move responds to growing traveler demand and strengthens connectivity through its Doha hub at the award-winning Hamad International Airport.

The airline, named World’s Best Airline for the ninth time by Skytrax in 2025, is setting a new record by operating up to 10 daily flights to London — its highest frequency to the city ever — complementing British Airways’ two daily flights.

Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer of Qatar Airways, highlighted the rising demand for premium travel to key cities such as London, Dublin, Cape Town, and São Paulo. He also announced a partnership with Virgin Australia to launch flights from Melbourne to Doha, increasing capacity to three daily flights, along with the resumption of services to Canberra to boost connectivity between Australia and the world.

Passengers will enjoy more travel options this winter with increased flight frequencies including:

  • Abu Dhabi: From 5 to 6 daily flights
  • Berlin: From 18 to 21 weekly flights
  • Cape Town: From 10 to 12 weekly flights
  • Casablanca: From 4 to 5 weekly flights
  • Dublin: From 14 to 17 weekly flights
  • Frankfurt: From 18 to 21 weekly flights
  • Johannesburg: From 14 to 18 weekly flights
  • London Heathrow: From 8 to 10 daily flights
  • Madrid: From 14 to 17 weekly flights
  • Maldives: From 3 to 4 daily flights
  • Manchester: From 21 to 24 weekly flights
  • Phuket: From 3 to 4 daily flights
  • São Paulo: From 14 to 18 weekly flights
  • Sharjah: From 3 to 7 daily flights
  • Tokyo Narita: From 11 to 14 weekly flights
  • Toronto: From 5 to 7 weekly flights

Supporting this expanded network is Qatar Airways’ modern fleet, including 54 Boeing 777 aircraft equipped with ultra-fast Starlink Wi-Fi, offered free of charge to all passengers across all cabins. Qatar Airways is the first airline worldwide to fully equip over 50 widebody aircraft with Starlink and the only carrier in the MENA region providing this service. The installation of Starlink on the Airbus A350 fleet is underway and expected to be completed within the next year.

As a global leader in aviation, Qatar Airways continues to set the standard for excellence, constantly adapting to evolving travel trends to serve both leisure and business travelers across the globe.
