Gold prices in the Qatari market rose by 1.82 percent during the current week, reaching USD 4,593.25000 per ounce on Thursday, according to data released by Qatar National Bank.
The bank's data showed that the price of gold per ounce increased from USD 4,510.79000 its level last Sunday.
At the same time, prices of other precious metals also rose on a weekly basis. Silver prices increased by 9.64 percent to USD 87.70880 per ounce, compared to USD 79.99080 at the beginning of the week, while platinum prices rose by 1.40 percent to reach USD 2,315.71780 per ounce, up from USD 2,283.60000 last Sunday.
