Free Night of Jazz and Art Art at The Pearl Island Hosted by US Emnassy in Doha

The US Embassy in Doha, in collaboration with ALHosh Gallery, invites the public to attend An Evening of Art and American Jazz on Tuesday, 19 August at 7 pm at ALHosh Gallery, Marina Way One, The Pearl Island.

The evening will feature a special live performance by the US AFCENT Band, guiding audiences through the rich history of jazz, from classic masterpieces to contemporary works, all set amid more than 300 artworks by 120 local and international artists.

Jazz, born from a blend of diverse traditions, stands as a pillar of America’s cultural heritage. As the United States prepares for America 250, marking the 250th anniversary of its founding, this cultural exchange between the US and Qatar offers an early celebration while highlighting the embassy’s commitment to supporting creative economies and preserving cultural heritage.

The event is free and open to all, with parking available on the street or in the P1 garage.
