Waiting for Godot is a play famously described as being about “nothing,” yet it remains one of the most iconic and influential works of the 20th century. It has long kept audiences worldwide wondering if it is a comedy, a tragedy, or something else entirely because it is both humorous and ridiculous.
The drama revolves around two curiously named characters, Estragon and Vladimir, who are united by their common goal of waiting for an enigmatic figure known only as Godot. The main problem becomes what to do while they wait. A cast of odd people, such as Pozzo, his servant Lucky, and a little child posing as Godot's messenger, are encountered along the route.
Waiting for Godot is recommended for ages 12+
